“He is not here; He is risen!” In that moment, joy replaced despair, hope eclipsed fear, and life conquered death, not just that day, but for all eternity. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ for what it meant then and what it means for us every day. For because of what Christ did for us on the cross: beaten, and tortured to death as the sacrifice for our sin; and because He rose again from the grave conquering death; all who put their faith in Him alone for salvation, enjoy forgiveness, renewal, and a peace that passes all human understanding. Praise be to God, we have overcome!
